Previously, on www.amazinglykai.blogspot.com.. Having IPP at DSTA and went MIA since then....

Okay, tat was lame.. Forgive me for bad introduction.. hahaha.. Yeah, sorry to any of the faithful readers who happened to check my blog regularly to see no new updates..

Well, now, i am putting some life into this blog after a long hiatus...

Currently, studying in my 2nd semester... haha.. 4 weeks had gone in a flash since it started.. I have to say that Bio-informatics track is really fun.. Been a long time since i learn science stuff and now, i am learning it again! It is all about DNA and proteins.. It is interesting to see and know more abt cells and other things in our body... Haha.. Helix-shaped always remind me of Heroes... Okay, i think i watched too much of heroes... I can see that quizzes are slowly creeping in soon... Anyway, gonna do well for this semester to pull up my gpa... Think that i am going to enjoy in this semester! Thanks to new friends that i made..

Actually, i could blog many stuffs during the holidays after my attachments... But due to human nature, i was lazy to blog.. And, I didnt do much during the hols.. but one thing, that i wouldnt forget during holiday is that, i went for wisdom tooth surgery and extraction.. Aww.. And somemore, it is only for the left side of my mouth.. The injection part is quite painful.. There are few injections but one of it, is really painful... Could feel the liquid moving along the veins ard the mouth part and it was like, hot water in it... Ouch... Then, my eyes was covered but can hear drilling sound.. haha.. Good thing is that it went smoothly.. Then after the surgery, i was brought to waiting room and the nurse gave me a small plastic bag with 2 teeth being extracted and 1 wisdom tooth which are in many pieces.. haha.. Then, went back home, thinking that it is over and all will be fine.. But i was wrong.. Especially at night.. the first night.. had alot of diffculties of sleeping.. coz, the pain was on and off.. and i tried to bear with it.. until, i gave up and took painkiller and went back to sleep again.. It was like tat for the next few nights, then, finally, the pain is gone.. haha.. Went back to dental centre to remove snitches and finally, my gum were healed.. Will be going back again maybe after poly to do the same thing on my right side.. 2 teeth extraction and 1 wisdom tooth.. I am not scared of the surgery thing, i am more scared of the after-effect pain.. Sianz..

And, i wanna watch movies!! Have not watched movie for quite some time... Plus, alot of good movies are coming up..

Hmm.. We are nearing the end of 2009... And, if we were to look back, everything is fast.. Now, i am really thinking about what am i gonna to do after graduation... But for now, i will just enjoy with what is happening right now.. haha.. Christmas is coming and gonna prepare for it soon... hahaha..

Okay, tats all.. and just to let u all know that i wont be updating so often just like last time.. haha.. My apologies.. See ya then..

I see spider-webs everywhere on this old and dirty blog.. this is bad... haha.. *brush it off*

Okay, i am very sorry to faithful readers who have been checking on my blog only to see outdated post which is 25th of May... haha..

Okay, let me start off with my attachment... Wow, times really flies.. 5 weeks gone just like tat.. And thank God, that everything is smooth.. Oh yea, my first lab was on XML encryption.. Encryption is basically something like, encoding the actual text to some "alien" words and send over to reciever so that the third party/hackers will not be able to see the message.. I am done with that for now, i guess.. I am currently doing the second lab which is based on uploading the files using Struts.. Browse the files that you want to upload and upload to local drives.. Yea, thats it.. But before uploading, need to do validation like, can upload certain file types and check for virus.. Haha.. Come to think of it.. It is like, my second choice third year selection tracks which is IT in Security.. Yeah.. Programming is tiring, but i am loving it becoz of my small interest in security.. haha.. I am like, killing two birds with one stone in this semester..

Before selecting which one to choose from, between Bio-Informatic or IT in Security, i spent alot of time thinking, which one should be my first choice since i like both.. In the end, Bio-Informatic was my first choice.. But it does not end there... I believe God had placed in me a workplace where i can learn those security stuffs and that is.... DSTA... Amen to that!! haha..

Okay, enough of attachment thing... On the other side.. Last weekend, had a Boy Cell chalet at Aloha Changi, Bungalow Halton D which is DIRECTLY in front of Old Changi Hospital... Spooky man.. From our back door in the kitchen, there is a staircase which lead up to OCH...Every night, must draw the curtain, no matter what.. haha.. I will just post few pictures will do... More pictures are up on facebook... lol..


Day 1: Yea, i went on fri night with Amos after my work.. Met up with the rest at Tampines Mall for dinner and buy BBQ stuffs.. Played some games and slept ard 4plus...
Day 2: Wanted to wake up at 7am to go for a run.. I woke up, but i was too tired, so went back to sleep.. Woke up at ard 9am.. Bathe and walked to Changi Village with Aaron to buy fruits.. Haha.. Returned back and we ate breakfast cooked by Jit Huih... After a short rest, had worship and word by Jit Huih... After that, we still have some time left before walking down to Changi Village for lunch.. Amos and i decided to do up to OCH becoz, he wanted to take some pictures... haha.. Slowly make our way up by old-looking staircase which is filled with dry leaves and and trees overcasting it.. Wow, that place is really really old... But, there are many graffiti on the walls.. LOL.... seem like alot of ppl been here before.. haha.. Later, Joshua, Willy and Aaron came up as well.. We went to the entrance of the OCH, looked inside and oh man it is quite dark in there even though it is sunny out there.. By looking inside, it is almost scary already...Wanted to explore abit inside, but cannot la.. No courage.. haha.. In the end, pose for a picture just outside
From here on, I have to admit that it was the best highlight of our chalet... After everyone had eaten, we rested for awhile... Looking at the time now, it is ard 9plus... Then, finally, Jit Huih or Kenneth decided that we should go to OCH.... LOL... For a moment, i tot he was really joking.. But then, some of us really wanted to go.. In the end, the 9 of us decided to go, leaving 3 of them behind at the chalet.. Before we started, we walked in pairs and slowly make our way up the staircase... Oh man, when we were up there... The atmospehere is like, so uncomfortable becoz, everywhere is sooo dark.. can see the building, but not very clear.. And the inside was like, sooo dark, totally can't see at all.. Even handphone's is not strong enough.. it will shine brightly like, 1-2 metres away from handphone.. Haha.. I admit, i am really very scared, but i have a parther who is more scared than me, so no choice, i had to be abit more brave and just walk.. lol.. I think, we covered the first floor(if i am not wrong, it is a big reception hall with some rooms at the corners..) of the main building and halfway along the hallway to another building/wing.. Before walking out of the building, we walked to abit more ard the first floor, and we saw a room that was brightly lit but candle and something.. i think it is something like an offering... So we just slowly walk out of the building and head down the staircase... Then, Jit Huih mentioned abt there is a small road leading up the back of the building, so we decided to walk there... Then, we found the small road from the main road... Along that small road, all street lamp-post lights were not on at all.. Super dark if you look ahead...With thick trees beside the road... It is abit scary compared to OCH.. lol.. then, when we reached there.. we decided not to go in.. We feel that it is abit dangerous by just looking at the building... Better go back.. so we went back to chalet...

Reached the chalet, we packed up the BBQ, washed dish, played ps2, bathe and played Beans and Bang game until, 5am..

Day 3: Woke up at 7am... Everyone was kinda in a rush.. Cleaning the stuffs and packing up our things.. We booked cabs to fetch us back to church for 9.15am Service... As a result of that, the kitchen were not properly tidied up, especially the plates, bowl and cups were not put back to original position, i left the kitchen dustbin outside the chalet room, alot of unwanted stuffs were all over the living room and dining room.. lol.. And worst of all, I left my C++ programming book there... Aww... Was supposed to lent to my friend as he wanna learn it.. lol.. haiz.. Took cab back and reached church.. Had breakfast at the coffeeshop nearby before going for service... After service, went for lunch with my family to celebrate Father's Day...

Wow, i think, it is a long entry.... haha.. I tot, i should type everything at a go... lol.. Once again, i might be MIA for quite some time, becoz, is like, i have nth new to update...

Been reading up lots of news lately on yahoo while i was at work.. So many things happening in this world.. H1N1 case on a rise, France Airplane crashed, North Korea Nuclear experiment, Metro Trains collisons, and not forgetting, Michael Jackson who just passed on yesterday.. Rest in peace...

Yes, i ended my FYPJ last week.. And i am not goin to type down wat happened during the last 2 days of my fypj.. i will tell you in person just in case, my supervisior stumbled upon my blog and read it.. I will be soooo dead already... haha.. Because, she know my email address... Hahah..

But anyway, thank God for see-ing me through the first period of FYPJ.. and now, i am moving on to IPP for the next 12 weeks..

Okay, i am posted to Defence Science & Technology Agency (DSTA) together with Daniel, Victor and Pei Wen.

So basically, today is my first day of work and we are meeting 7.45am at Buona Vista MRT.. Woke up at 6.30am, bathe and left my house before 6.45am.. My bus came at 7am.. And you know wat? I reached the Buona Vista MRT at 8.20am man.. I am sooo dead man... After i met my friends, we took cab down to DSTA at science park drive there... Luckily, it was only nearby... We reached at abt 8.32am.. Once we were there, we went to the counter to look for this HR manager, luckily, she just came out to bring us into one of the meeting room, so, i am guessing, she didnt know that we are actually late.. Heng la... She gave us files, forms and a contract thing to fill up and sign.. On the contract, we arent suppose to give out any offical information abt DSTA thing.. In fact, cannot leak out anything... LOL... kinda strict.. haha.. Then, she told about wat are forms for and wat are we suppose to do with it.. After everything, she told us to take cab down to DSTA at Depot where we will be working at for 12 weeks already..

Haha.. So we took cab there lor.. Trying not to type alot of things here.. But, thats where our Industrial Placement Program (IPP) begin.. Met our OICs and she brought us around and oso to try out our cards whether they are working or not.. Haha.. Saw, my church friend, Isaac, there.. so cool man.. we will goin down to DSTA every morning.. haha.. And my sister's friend, Roger oso worked at DSTA too, he came down from higher storey to drop by for a short chat.. haha..

So, my working hours is same as the FYPJ hours..

Mon to Thur - 8.30 to 6pm..
Fri - 8.30 to 5.30pm

Tomorrow, i will be able to find out more about my project.. As of now, i know that i will doing, Java Programming on XML Encryption... Maybe, tmr, will update here abt my project scope.. haha..

Haha.. okay..

Finally found time to update my blog.. haha.. I think, i am almost done with my fypj.. I guess, i am waiting for supervisior to send me one last tutorial and practical for me to create flash or watever and then,, i am FINALLY done.. haha.. Will be meeting my supervisior next week to update her about my progress... haha.. Cant wait to get over with FYPJ... hahaha..

I will be having Napfa Test next wed... Finally, Napfa test after 2-3 years since secondary school.. lol.. I know, it is not important to me as i wont be entering army.. But i need to keep check of my fitness... Haha.. Please let me get at least a silver man.. hahaha..

Okay, and so finally, Heroes Season 3 ended two nights ago... The ending is not bad at all, at least alot better than the previous season.. haha... Heard that the next volume, "Redemption", will be out in September this year.. Hopefully, it will be alot better than the previous volumes/seasons.. haha..

Okay... i gotta blog already... hahaha..

A short update of my FYPJ... Hmm, another 4 more weeks to end of FYPJ!! On the other hand, i only have 2 days of rest before my attachment start, i guess... Haiz.. hahaha.. Okay, i am done with 8 topics with alignments and fonts thing.. Tomorrow gotta improve my flash thing before submitting the latest work and hopefully, it is being uploaded to sch CMS on time on mon... Haha..

And, there is a new cafe near the entrance of the school, it is Gloria's Jean Bean.. Rather have either Starbucks or Coffeebean than this.. lol... If i am tired, can go down and buy to perk me up... lol... just realised that i have been sleeping on my desk everyday whenever i have nth to do or once i finished what i have to do... lol.. gonna change this habit.. Have to chiong and continue doing other thing, if i finished my current one.. Haha...

Playing Restarant City on Facebook is real fun... Setting up a store, get employee to cook and serve customer, once it hit a certain Gourment Points(EXP), u gain another level to have either a free space or get one more employee... haha.. At the same time, u can upgrade ur 3 kinds of dishes, Starter, Main & Dessert, to level 10... In order to upgrade them, u need ingredients! And, there are three ways of obtaining the ingredients, trade with others players, goin to their shop for the first time as well as doing daily quiz(only if u can get the right answer.) Haha.. it is really fun.. Last night, each dish from 3 kinds were at level 10.. and i am just one level away from the max level which is 27.. I hope, they exceed the next level as soon as they can, if not, once i hit there, i will be playing for nth, except to collect money.. lol...

Due to popular demands(i hope so), i am back and blogging this time for real... Hahaha...

Okay, a short update of my FYPJ...... Third week and i am done with web design for 4 topics out of 12 topics... Somehow, i feel that my design is not that really nice, it look pretty simple to me.. Really need some help on website designs.. Anyone willing to do a nice template and send to me?!! Hahaha.. Beside website design, i still have to type out the practicals content onto the site as well as creating interactive tutorial flash which consist of questions(mutiple choice, true/false, drag 'n' drop and so on) and animations... It is really fun and interesting to create that.. But as of now, my worry is that, the tutorial flash has some slight problem.. For example, after creating and testing it, it work well.. then, i distribute/convert to flash player, the content in it became alittle different.. Like, this one or that one cannot work and so on... Sianz man.. Gotta keep trying and trying man.. haha.. 3 weeks down, 9 more weeks to go.. Somehow, it is too fast. I just wish time would stop or at least slow down... haha...

Ok, i know some of my classmates were surprised to know that i have been learning dancing... Well, this is how it begin.. Many years ago, my sis used to be in Chinese Dance Club during her Secondary School and serve in Dance Ministry in our church few years ago... At home, i would watch her practising her dances... thats how the interest 'spark' inside me... At that time, i was like, wow... lol.. As time goes by, i didnt really thought abt learning dancing until 3 years ago, i watched High School Musical and the last song, "We're in this together" was really catchy and cool.. And soon looked forward to High School Musical 2 because i was expecting more dances from that movie.. and true enough, there were few more mass dance in HSM2... "Work This Out"(lyrical) is the first song that i learnt to dance.... Then, slowly, went on to learn another song in the same movie, "All For One"(Rock and roll).. But that does not stop me from learning, I search for more dancing movie through online.. My all time favourite dance movies would be Step Up 1 and Step Up 2... Haha... Again, learnt two more songs from HSM3, "A night to remember"(disco) and "High School Musical"(lyrical).. Then, last year, during december hols, i signed up for my first dance class(Hip Hop) with Aaron and Sam as i mentioned in the post few months ago... Then, search youtube for Korean Boyband, Super Junior's dance moves... Their dance moves has captured my eyes... Then, i learnt their song, 'U' and "Wonder Boy' which i completed few weeks ago... Gonna learn their other songs soon...
Then this week, signed up for Trial Dance Class at Moving Arts Studio at Bishan CC with Aaron and Sam.. Yesterday was Reggae... And today was Street Jazz... Tomorrow gonna learn MTV Dance.. And the day after tmr would be Lyrical Hip Hop!!! Cool man.. learn 4 different dances in a week is awesome... My goals is to learn all kinds of dances if i can... haha..

Yep, tats why or how, i started learning dancing... Haha..

haha.. Seriously, i have been MIA for long time.. and it is time that i need to blog..

Hmm.. A day after my exam ended which is last tue, went to Zoo and Night Safari with Kenneth.. been a long time since i last been there man.. If i am not wrong, my last trip was during primary school time.. haha... Yes, the entrances have changes alot, as in much better and attractive.. haha.. We buy 2-in-1 deal for both which cost 30 dollars.. we saved 10 dollars from it... haha... Yea, the inside is still the same... Haha... It is really fun to walk ard and cover the whole area of Zoo.. When we were at the monkey section, it started rainning heavily.. Sianz man.. we waited in the shelter which overlook the monkey area.. lol.. We were watching their "daily" lives... Playing, chasing, wrestling and eating all the time.. Haha.. Finally the rain ceased, we decided to move on... By 5.30pm, we were about to cover the remaining area before we exit, most animals, like, lion, cheetah and so on were aleady kept inside.. so, wat we see is grass, rock and trees.... LOL..
Waste money man.. nv mind then.. We exit, and went for dinner at Bongo Burger at Night Safari... Then went inside... actually, it is more fun to walk ard rather than take tram.. Yea.. It can be scary walking in darkness but really fun... haha..

And a short update of what am i doing currently....

And today is the start of my 3rd year semester 1... Haha.. Currently doing FYPJ for first 12 weeks and then, IPP(attachment) for the next 12 weeks and my first semester will be gone.. In next whole semester, will be studying Bio-Informatics and then, I am done!!! haha.. i believe this year will be gone in a flash before i know it.. Haha... I am trusting in my Lord that he will see me through the 12 weeks of FYPJ..
